Lazio v Chievo betting facts

Lazio is 9-1-1 at home in the Serie A. Chievo is 2-0-8 away. So we are dealing with one very solid home team and one poor away side generally speaking.  Lazio is still on a very hefty unbeaten run, after getting a 1-1 draw away to Juventus in the midweek Coppa Italia. Chievo is 1-1-1 after the winter break. Lazio is a massive 18 points ahead of Chievo in the Serie A standings, so to me Lazio is several notches better. 

Last time these teams clashed in Roma it ended 0-0. The reverse fixture this season ended 3-1 in favor of Lazio. That was a well-deserved win.

For Lazio the midfielder Lorik Cana is suspended. Veteran striker Miroslav Klose is still out injured. Defenders Abdoulay Kono and Andre Dias are still undergoing treatment. Andre Dias might be ready however. For Chievo; regular midfielders Luca Rigoni and Roberto Guana return to action. Fellow midfielders Siqueira Luciano and Perparim Hetemaj are ruled out. Defender Bostajan Cesar and Number 1 Goalie Stefano Sorrentino might be involved after coming through in training.

Lazio has gone 16 matches without a loss now. Chievo has lost their two last away, and scored in neither.  Lazio are massive Favorites, and they are head and shoulder above Chievo in class. In my opinion Lazio should even win this on confidence alone. I call a Lazio win.
