MILAN V CATANIA PREDICTIONS

Milan face a tough fight to hold off Fiorentina for 3^rd place and a Champions League spot while Catania have not given up on sneaking into a Europa League spot.

Milan are currently 3^rd in Serie A with 59 points from 33 matches which leaves them 7 points behind 2^nd place Napoli and just 1 point ahead of 4^th place Fiorentina.  They have not won for 3 matches, having played the two teams ahead of them and one just behind, ending in draws against Fiorentina and Napoli and defeat at Juventus.  They have let Fiorentina right back into the race and it is imperative that they win this game to stay ahead.

Catania are 9^th in Serie A with 48 points from 33 matches.  They are 5 points off a Europa League spot which makes it unlikely they’ll be able to finish top 5, especially as they have went 4 matches without a win, including 3 draws in a row.  They will be lucky to finish top half if this type of form continues.

Milan welcome Mario Balotelli back form suspension but Cristian Zapaa will miss this one.  Also Abbiati and Ambrosini are injured and Pazzini is facing a late fitness test.
