PARMA V GENOA PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Parma are 10^th in Serie A with 31 points from 23 matches.  They are 9 points off a Euro place and 11 points ahead of relegation so they don’t have much to aim for short term and will just be looking at amassing as many points as possible.  Their recent form has seen 2 draws and 2 defeats in their last 4 games but they have faced 3 top 6 teams in that time.  They will be hoping a home match against a bottom half team here will yield a better result.

Genoa are 17^th in the table with 21 points from 23 matches and are just 1 point above the relegation zone.  They have been impressive recently with a 1-1 draw at top of the league Juventus and a 3-2 win over 3^rd place Lazio in their last 2 matches.  They will feel no fear going to Parma here and will be in full confidence.

Parma are strong favourites here but I think the market is undervaluing Genoa’s recent results and the confidence they’ll take from them.  I’m going to make a small play on the outsider here as I feel they win the game around a quarter of the time.
