PESCARA - FIORENTINA PREDICTIONS

Bottom club Pescara bow out of their return to Italy Serie A with a whimper. Fiorentina are the visitors and are seeking a win to possibly edge them into a Champions League spot.

Pescara go into the game with one of the worst records in any top league across Europe.  Indeed their last win was remarkably at Fiorentina way back at the beginning of January. In a run spanning 18 games Pescara have managed a miserable 2 draws and 16 defeats!  With just 9 goals scored and 44 conceded they really are a desperate side. The home side have no new injury worries but their team is poor so maybe a few will be changed around and a few younger squad members given a taste of Serie A.

Napoli are in tremendous form with 8 wins and 1 draw and 2 defeats from their last 11 Italy Serie A games.  With 21 goals scored and 11 conceded the team from Florence are playing superbly at the moment. Fiorentina need a win and hope Milan somehow fail to beat Siena in Tuscany. Although that likelihood is slim Fiorentina must play for a win and hope the Milanese slip up. No major problems for Fiorentina with Alberto Aquilani and Mati Fernandez expected to prove their fitness and Adem Ljajic available again and he should make it straight into the starting eleven.
