ROMA V BOLOGNA : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS

Roma are now the only team with a perfect start in Serie A following a 2-0 win at Sampdoria, Gervinho getting his first goal since his summer move from Arsenal. They have still only conceded once, and like Inter have no Euro competition to think about so can go all out on their league programme. Coach Rudi Garcia is proving a breath of fresh air, and there is no telling how far this team can go. Bradley and Destro continue to sit out injured, and Maicon is a doubt. Roma have won nine of the fifteen meetings here, but none in the last three with Bologna gaining a rare win here last season.

Bologna are yet to win with  three draws and two losses thus far. They thought they had that elusive first win at home to Milan in midweek, but a 3-1 score became 3-3 with two last minute Milan strikes. Laxalt on loan from Inter proving to be a thorn in Milans side with two goals in his first start of the season. Surely doing enough to earn another start here. Cherubin remains injured and Natali and Kone are suspended for this.

Roma have won all their games so far by more than a goal so the main betting tip is on the Asian handicap where Roma -1.5 is 2.00(1/1) at Bet365. A sound defence, and lots of goal threat makes this a great bet, and Roma can win by the two goals or more margin that we need to collect our winnings. This looks a much better bet for me than taking 1.36(4/11) on the 1X2 for a Roma win.
