Roma (10-2-0) have lost top spot after successive draws, although a win here will put them back to the lead. They have took the lead in those two latest draws, only to be pegged back by lowly opposition late on. Cagliari (3-4-5) are yet to win away this season taking just two points from six road trips, although they have won this fixture for the past two seasons in Rome. Roma are still without Torosidis, Balzeretti(def) and Totti(str) to injury, though Gervinho(str) is fit to return. Cagliari key midfielder Nainggolan is suspended for the game, and Agazzi(gk) and Perico(def) are out.
