ROMA V GENOA : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS 1x2
Roma (12-5-1) suffered their first defeat of the season last week at Juventus, although the 3-0 scoreline was harsh on them. Back to winning ways in a midweek cup win, they need a win here as they have only won two of their last Serie A games, and the gap to the third and fourth teams is diminishing. Genoa (6-5-7) win last week ended a five match winless run, and they are currently pretty comfortable in ninth place. Castan(def), De Rossi(mid) and Ljajic(str) are important suspensions for Roma, with Balzaretti(def) still out injured. Genoa miss top scorer Gilardino(str) suspended, and Gamberini(def) and Kucka(mid) injured.
Roma at 1.36(4/11)Bet365 is the 1X2 choice. Both sides miss key players to suspension, but Roma should be able to cope well enough and field a strong enough team to get the win. Roma have won this fixture in Rome for the past seven seasons, and I don’t see Genoa having enough to stop the sequence continuing.
