Verona (7-1-4) have been the revelation of Serie A having been promoted last season, and take on bottom placed Chievo in this Verona derby match. A perfect home record of six wins makes impressive reading, and this match has favoured the home team in previous meetings. Verona should approach this one with confidence high. Chievo (1-3-8) have been awful being honest, and just one goal scored in six away games is dire. At least the last two goalless draws have showed the defence is pretty tight, but no wins in eight meant the sack for coach Sannino. Corini is back at the helm, and he needs to turn things around pretty quickly if Chievo are to avoid the drop. Full squad for Verona, but Chievo are without suspended Pellissier(str), and injured Claiton(def) and Bentivoglio(mid).
