Verona (12-4-11) have not been so impressive of late with recent form of two wins, two draws and two defeats, but remain seventh only four points off fifth placed visitors Inter. A loss last week in Parma was no disgrace, given their fine form, but you feel they need a big match win to stir up an end of season rally. This game would certainly fit the bill for that against their more illustrious visitors. Inter (11-11-5) have gone unbeaten in five league games, including three wins, and a fourth place finish is a real possibility for them. A narrow win against a decent Torino side illustrated that they are not too far from becoming a real force again, and with a summer spending spree on the cards it could well happen. A strong finish to the season could well help convince some of the touted big names to come to Inter, as well as guarantee European football after a rare blank year this season. In ten previous meetings of the teams the best Verona have managed is a solitary draw, so the history books certainly favour Inter. Gonzalez(def) and Gomez Taleb(str) are out with injury for Verona, while Inter have Juan Jesus(def) suspended.
