Asker may be a 2nd Division team, but they are in absolutely wonderful form! They also bang in goals for fun, so it looks like this team is either "going places" or about to be robbed for some star material by Tippeliga clubs. So far this season in 2nd Division group 1 they are 7-0-0 (26-5 goal difference). They also surprised Norway's best team Strømsgodset in the NM Cup. Godset lost 2-1!
Vålerenga is much better at home this season, but I expect a lot of Vålerenga fans to take the short trip to Asker for this one. That's a plus for them of course! However, there are still some talented players missing from the squad, and I am absolutely not going to back Vålerenga at the market prices available. My betting tips is Asker +1 at 1.95 with BET365. I much prefer this over the 1x2 as Vålerenga is less likely to underestimate Asker due to the match against Strømsgodset. Getting a cushion against the draw and even a one goal VIF win is ding ding!
