Lillestrøm v Strømsgodset is a fixture taken from the Norwegian Tippeliga.

Lillestrom has only lost twice in the last ten Tippeliga matches. At home they are 3-3-1 over the season so far and they have no reason to think of anything but getting three points today before the Tippeliga take a short vacation. LSK will take confidence in the 3-0 win against Godset at Åråsen last season, and the fact that the 2-0 loss to Godset in Drammen was a very close tie with LSK perhaps getting a bit undone by the ref.

LSK is further helped by the return of veteran central defender Frode Kippe. Fullback Bjørn Helge Rise has left the club, but to be honest I can't see that being a bad thing at all.

Strømsgodet has improved after former coach Nielsen was sent packing when Haugesund beat Strømsgodet 4-0 back in May. Interim coach Ingebretsen has focused more on tightening up at the back and this has brought six wins in eight attempts (all competitions). However, Strømsgodset played in Tirana as late as Thursday. Obviously there is a bit of travel logistics involved, which will hinder full focus on this upcoming tie. Also, it was extremely warm in Tirana, so I do expect to see a bit of a performance drop here. It should be mentioned that three starters from the 4-1 win against Viking are sitting out. Ogunjimi, Storflor and Adjei-Boateng will miss out. Strømsgodset has a good squad, but this will be felt.

I am going for the -0.25 line on the Asian Handicaps rather than the -0.5 (or 1x2). Strømsgodset has displayed a lot of fight lately and that must be respected.
