Stromsgodset v Sogndal predictions

Stromsgodset is the best team in the Tippeliga, I have very little doubt about that. They have built a great foundation over a few years, and it shows in their performances. Sogndal was involved in the relegation fight last season, and I do not think this year will be much different.

Stromsgodset has won three of their last five home games with two or more goals. If you look at their last ten Tippeliga games alltogether they have won six by two goals or more. Sogndal were 2-5-8 away last season, and so far this season they haven't indicated they will improve those stats. They also scored less than one goal average per game. Again, nothing indicates they will improve on that either this season. It must be said though, they were seldom beaten big. Stromsgodset were one of few teams to win by two or more against them last season, when they met it ended 3-0 in Drammen. The reverse fixture ended 1-1!

Stromsgodset will miss Horn (Central Defender), other than that both sides should field good sides. I doubt that will influence the outcome of this game much.

I think Godset will run this game from start to finish. Sogndal will be fought back, and have to rely on counter attacks and luck. Even if the away side should notch one, I do definitely see the home side running away with a few goals.
