England Premier League is on its way back, we begin with the season opener as FA cup winners Arsenal take on Premier League winners Man City. Arsenal have really strengthened over the summer with Alexis Sanchez, Matheiu Debuchy and Calum Chambers. – they are missing a few for this one though with the German contingent of Ozil, Mertesacker and Podolski not selected nor Ollie Giroud (slight knock) – Man City have been rather quiet in the transfer market with only Lampard Sagna, Caballero and Fernando incoming so far. City will rest the world cup clique of Zabaleta, Aguero, DeMichelis,Fernandinho and Kompany. New men Lampard and Sagna will take no part either.
Despite only playing 16 competitive fixtures for Man City since his big money move from Fiorentina – Stevan Jovetic has still managed to find the net 6 times. Pretty impressive given a few of those were substitute appearances. With coach Pellegrini already confirming Aguero will not feature nor Negredo its very likely he will play behind or alongside Dzeko. I really like the odds of 2.75 or 7/4 anytime.
