AROUCA V SPORTING BRAGA: PREDICTIONS
Arouca is a team from the metropolitan area of Porto. They have had a fairytale few years with a series of promotions taking them from Aveiro regional league to the top flight of Portuguese Primeria in just seven years. The side lost back to back opening games, hammered 5-1 by Sporting and then defeated 1-2 to Estoril in their 1st ever home top flight game. However since then the side has been galvanised with two successful 1-0 wins, beating Rio Ave and Nacional in Madeira.
Sporting Braga are now part of the establishment in Portuguese football. Joining Porto, Benfica and Sporting as the recognised big 4. They opened up with wins over Pacos Ferriera, Belenenses and Estoril but were defeated at Gil Vicente.
