P.FERREIRA – VITORIA DE SETUBAL: PREDICTIONS

P.Ferreira have had a truly dreadful start to the season, losing every single match they have contested. They have lost all four Primeira Liga fixtures, going down at home to Braga and Porto; While losing away to Olhanense and Benfica. A horrible opening fixture list in truth with 3 of the best teams in Portugal faced. In Europe its much of the same, a Champions League place was lost when they were defeated in both legs, losing 8-3 on aggregate. In opening Europa League match was another loss this time 3-0 to Fiorentina. A poor start its true but they have faced 5 very good sides indeed already.

Vitoria Setubal  have had a poor start themselves to Primeira Liga. Three losses have hampered them with home defeats to Porto and Maritimo and an away loss to Rio Ave. One standout result was the 4-1 away in at Vitoria Guimaraes. Oscar Cardozo’s younger brother Ramon has looked a solid buy and has bagged 2 in 3 already. His partnership with Rafael Martins looks good.

P.Ferreira have had a woeful start to the season and confidence must be on the floor. They have had a very difficult opening fixture list. Packed with games weekend and midweek and for Portuguese teams this is hard to handle, especially for the smaller sides.
