ABERDEEN - CELTIC: PREDICTIONS

The big game of the weekend sees Aberdeen host champions in waiting Celtic to Pittodrie.

Aberdeen have made an excellent start to the season with two wins from two. League victories have been an opening day 2-1 win over Kilmarnock and a very impressive 3-1 win at Motherwell. With Well expected to be the “best of the rest” it was a real marker for Aberdeen and they really dominated Motherwell to such an extent that Aberdeen now are favourites in the betting without Celtic (2.62 in Betting Without Celtic market Bet365) Aberdeen do look good and should give Celtic a game at home for sure. Coach Derek McInnes will check on his 6 international players when they return from duty.

Celtic have only played once in Scotland Premier and that was a low key game against Ross County that was sandwiched in between a vital Champions League qualifier with Elfsborg. Edit: Celtic has been hit by somewhat of an injury crises as Fisher is out for sure while Brown, Forrest, Boerrigter, van Dijk, Rogic, Lustig, Ambrose, Stokes and Balde all are doubts. With next week coming up with Champions League qualification Lennon surely will be on the safe side when he picks his starting eleven.

Very difficult game this one for Celtic who have the all-important Champions League play off on Tuesday and a nightmare travel to Kazakhstan to negotiate.
