CELTIC V DUNDEE UNITED PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Celtic will hope bounce back from their disappointing midweek defeat to Juventus in the Champions League.  They went into the match full of optimism and despite a strong performance went down to a 3-0 defeat to the Italian Champions.

In domestic competition Celtic are in strong form with 5 straight SPL wins, by an aggregate score of 16-3.  In their last 5 home matches they have scored at least 4 goals in 4 of those 5 games so the fans will be expected a strong effort again here.

Dundee United are 7^th in the table with 33 points from 25 matches.  This leaves them even with 6^th place Kilmarnock and they’ll be hoping to move into the top half soon.  A strong 3-1 win over Hearts last weekend will have the team full of confidence and they’ll feel they can catch Celtic sluggish after their midweek match.

Celtic have been in excellent form in the SPL and the only questions is over their recovery from the Champions League clash in midweek.  They have a large enough squad where match fitness shouldn’t be an issue so it’ll be more of a question of the mental recovery.
