CELTIC V HIBS PREDICTIONS
Celtic can clinch the title today if they win and Motherwell lose. Hibs meanwhile still have a chance of a top 6 place if they can defy the odds and win here.
Celtic are top of the SPL with 66 points from 32 matches which has them 13 points ahead of Motherwell in 2nd. Celtic have dropped a number of points recently in the league but the majority of those have been away from home, at home they have won 9 straight SPL matches and winning the title in front of their own fans is a big incentive for them.
Hibs are currently 9th in the table with 40 points from 32 matches but are just 2 points off 6th placed Kilmarnock. It is unlikely all 3 teams ahead of Hibs will fail to win so the chances are they’ll end up in the bottom 6 split. Back to back loses for Hibs at Motherwell and at home to ICT cost them any chance of the top 6.
