DUNDEE UNTIED V MOTHERWELL PREDICTIONS

The first match in the top 6 split sees 6^th placed Dundee United take on 2^nd place Motherwell in our Friday night SPL match.

Dundee United looked like missing out on the top 6 altogether but a win on the last day against Aberdeen and Kilmarnock losing meant they snuck in.  They have not had the best of season’s this year and would have been aiming at a top 3 place but things have not worked out that way.  Jackie McNamara was installed as manager half way through the season and things have improved since then and he’ll be confident he can have them in the fight for 2^nd place come next season.

Motherwell have had another strong season under Stuart McCall and fully deserve their second place.  They are unbeaten in 6 matches in the league including a win over Celtic so can be seen as the most in form team in the league.  They still only have a 3 point lead over ICT though so need to keep the wins coming to confirm 2^nd spot.
