HIBERNIAN V HEARTS PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

The Edinburgh derby is always a huge game for fans of the clubs and the rest of Scottish Football.  This time round Hearts are in turmoil off the park and Hibs will be looking to take full advantage as they push for a top 6 finish this year.

Hibs are currently in 6^th position with 39 points form 29 matches but the table is so tight that it is just 4 points to 3^rd place and 2 points to 9^th place.  Wins at home are very important as they look to keep in the top half as we near the fabled SPL Split.  They are undefeated in 3 matches but have not won at home for 4 games.

Hearts are struggling down in 10^th in the league with 33 points from 30 games.  The threat of administration as the club struggles to stay funded is a huge cloud hanging over the club and could threaten their future in the league.  Despite that they got their first win in 7 matches at the weekend, beating St Johnstone 2-0.

Hibs being at home is an obvious advantage for them but Hearts are still a strong side who on their day can beat any team in the league.
