KILMARNOCK V CELTIC : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS

Kilmarnock have not yet won in seven in the league and sit on three points. They have lost their last three at home, and drew 1-1 at Partick last week with Boyd getting the equalising goal. Scoring goals isn’t a strong point with just six scored so far, and Celtic have won on six of their last seven visits here.

Celtic were humbled by Championship side Greenock Morton in the league cup in midweek, going down to an extra time strike. They sit on sixteen points after six in the league, and will go top with a win here. The last three in the league have brought wins, and last week they beat St Johnstone 2-1 at Celtic park. The small matter of a midweek champions league tie against Barcelona will no doubt be on the players minds, but Lennon will be against fielding an under strength team after the midweek debacle. Young Finnish striker Pukki, signed from Schalke has scored in the last two league games and will hope to strike again.

KILMARNOCK V CELTIC: BETTING TIPS

Killy are without a win, but they have not lost any game by more than a goal though, and Celtic have have won by just the odd goal on three occasions as well as one draw. The best bet I can see is the Asian handicap Kilmarnock+1.25 at 2.50(6/4) Bet365, if Celtic win by one we keep half of our stake, and win on the other half. A draw or Kilmarnock win gives us a full stake win. With Celtic getting ready for Barcelona in midweek there is a good chance they will not be one hundred percent focussed here, and this rates a good betting opportunity.
