MOTHERWELL V CELTIC PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Motherwell are 3^rd in the SPL with 40 points from 27 matches and are just 1 point behind second place Inverness.  They had a really good chance to take 2^nd place outright with Inverness on a very poor run of results but 2 straight defeats to Dundee United and Ross County has kept them in 3^rd.

Celtic are now 21 points clear at the top of the table and are easily heading towards their second straight title.  They have had the Champions League to focus on recently but have still managed 4 wins and a draw in their last 5 games with an aggregate score of 19-5.  With midweek games for the past few weeks and more going forward I would expect Neil Lennon to continue to rotate the squad somewhat to make sure each player is getting a suitable amount of rest.  The squad is large enough and of sufficient quality that these changes will not have a detrimental effect on the performances.

Motherwell have really struggled lately and two straight defeats will have sapped their confidence.  They are facing a Celtic team on a strong run and the 5-0 win against Dundee at the weekend will have set them up well for this match.
