MOTHERWELL V CELTIC PREDICTIONS

Motherwell look for their second straight victory over Celtic to all but confirm 2^nd place in the table.  Celtic want revenge after defeat in their last meeting and want to show they are the dominant force in Scottish football.

Motherwell are 2^nd in the SPL with 57 points from 34 matches which leaves them 15 points behind Celtic but with a 6 point lead over 3^rd place Inverness.  They are looking strong for 2^nd place and a shot at Europa League qualifiers and have been undefeated in their last 7 matches, winning 5 of them.

Celtic have already clinched the SPL and have the Scottish Cup final to look forward to at the end of the season.  They have had a great season overall with their last 16 appearance in the Champions League to add to their domestic honours. This week Celtic have complained about none of their players being on the final 4 shortlist for player of the year despite their dominance.  I feel no player has stood out individually for Celtic this year and the other players nominated have been more valuable to their teams so you can see why they have amassed the votes.
