ST. MIRREN V CELTIC PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Celtic want to continue their chance of a domestic treble when they take on St Mirran in the League Cup semi-final.

St Mirren are having a poor time this season in the SPL and are currently in 11^th place.  Luckily for them Dundee are 12 points adrift at the bottom so relegation isn’t a worry.  The fans will not be happy with the league position but a trip to a cup final will certainly make up for it.

Celtic meanwhile are having an easy time of it in the SPL as many expected.  They have a 12 point lead over ICT and Motherwell and look like easily retaining their SPL title.  The fans will be hoping for a domestic treble this year and this will be the first competition decided.

ST. MIRREN V CELTIC PREDICTIONS: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

Both teams have home midweek games in the SPL but at this stage of the tournament neither side will be looking at resting players and we’ll be seeing two full strength sides out there.

We’d expect Celtic to be strong favourites at this neutral venue and looking at the league performances of both sides would agree with that.

A Celtic win is available at 1.33 with Ladbrokes which I think is a good bet.
