ST MIRREN V ST JOHNSTONE PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

St Mirren are 11^th in the SPL this year with 28 points form 24 matches but are well clear of relegation with Dundee 14 points behind them.  They have had some good performances lately with 3 wins in their last 5, including an excellent League Cup semi-final win over Celtic.  They will take plenty of confidence from that game and feel they can go far in the Scottish Cup too.

St Johnstone are5th in the table and are aiming for another top 6 finish this season.  Their recent form has been good with 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat in their last 5 but they have not won in 4 matches away from home.

Both teams will be aiming to go far in this competition as their league future is secure and they know an extra game against Celtic will net them a nice windfall of cash.

ST MIRREN V ST JOHNSTONE PREDICTIONS: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

St Johnstone are small favourites here despite being the away side which I find a little surprising.  They are well ahead of St Mirren in league places but there is only 5 points between them in what is a very close SPL this season.  St Mirren also have the better recent form and St Johnstone have not won away for over 2 months.
