ALMERIA – ELCHE PRIMERA PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS

Almeria’s defensive problems surfaced again as they made it two games without a win. After the opening day 3-2 loss to Villarreal they made their 1^st point with a 2-2 with Getafe. Barcelona loanee Rodri has been deadly up front so far with 3 goals in the opening 2 games. Almeria again impressed going forward but the back line is creaking and against bigger teams Almeria could be in trouble. New signing Marco Torsiglieri is injured and still to make his debut.

Elche had a terrible start to the season, losing 3-0 to an average Vallecano side. In the second match they were expected to fold at home to a very good Sociedad side. They surprised everyone with an excellent performance and were worthy of at least a point. Putting immense pressure on the Sociedad side when they lost possession they played well for over an hour but the sheer effort resulted with a loss of energy for the last 30 and Sociedad took advantage and sneaked an equaliser. Damien Suarez is suspended for this game, he would likely start too.
