Almeria picked up a few points in recent weeks but are still not good enough to haul themselves out the drop zone. They have 30 points from their 31 games so far and are just goal difference away from safety. Home record reads 5 wins, 5 draws and 5 losses which is ok.  Wins over league leaders Atletico Madrid and  Real Sociedad show they can play. Recent form is not great though with 1 win, 1 draw and 4 losses from 6.  Missing for them here will be Dubarbier and Martinez. Osasuna are the only side in the league with worse form than the hosts. Just 1 draw to go with 5 defeats mean they are falling like a stone. They are now in 19^th and have an identical record to Almeria and have a slightly worse goal difference. Away form for Osasuna reads 3 wins, 3 draws and 10 losses.

I always think the bigger name sides in Spain are best laid when playing the smaller regional sides. An excellent case here as Almeria host Osasuna. Both sides with identical records, Almeria are decent at home while Osasuna are poor on the road. Recent form is better for Almeria and recent home wins against 2 of the top 6 in Sociedad and Atletico Madrid show they can perform at least at home.
