BARCELONA v ATLETICO MADRID: 1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Champions will be decided at Camp Nou for La Liga in what has been a thrilling title chase. It went all around the place over the last few weeks as all three sides have lost unlikely matches and dropped points all over the place. As it stands now Atletico only need a draw to take the title.  A Barcelona win means they grab another La Liga.  Barcelona are in 2^nd place with 86 points and trail Atletico by 3 points,  they can be overtaken by a loss by Real Madrid and they wont want that. At home Barce have won 16, drew 1 and lost 1. Recent form for them shows 3 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss. Out here will be keeper Valdes and reserve man Dos Santos. Atletico go into this one needing one final push to grab the 1^st half of a miracle double. They will need to hold out for 90 minutes for a league title. Away form for Atletico shows 13 wins, 1 draw and 4 losses. Recent form is identical to Barce with 3 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss. Out for them here will be Rodriguez.  There is the small matter of a Champions League final with Real Madrid but we have a whole week for that so it has to be cast aside.

These sides have met an amazing five times already this season and the head to heads are remarkable. We have had 1 Atletico win and 4 draws! With just 2 goals for Atletico and 1 for Barcelona.  Not many teams can keep Barcelona goal less for 4 matches! I think low goals are on the cards again here for sure but think this is the game that Barcelona break their hoodoo on Atletico. History is on the side of Barcelona and the pressure will be great. But with Messi, Sanchez, Neymar, Fabregas, Iniesta and Xavi all bearing down on you for 90 minutes I feel it will be too much. Atletico will also have the Champions League final on their minds and for me such things are always a distraction.
