Two unbeaten sides go head to head in  Estadio de Balaidos as Celta Vigo host the Barcelona giants. Celta have had an excellent opening to the season with 3 wins and 1 draw. They have beaten Vallecano, Levante and most impressively Sevilla away. A draw with Las Palmas was the other result. They have scored 10 already but have leaked 5 so that’s a cause for concern as they face the most dangerous of attacking units. They will be without left back Jonny Castro due to suspension. Barcelona made it 4 wins from 4 and they finally opened up with goals after a low key start to the season. They have beaten Bilbao and Atletico Madrid away with Malaga and Levante defeated at Camp Nou.  Barcelona are without Vermeulen, Rafinha, Costa, Claudio Bravo and Ramirez. Although Gerard Pique returns after his long ban.

I though the handicap would be higher but due to Celta’s great start it is pitched in at +1. For me that’s pushing me to side with Barcelona. They have the bigger squad and a long line of quality. Celta have the attacking impetus but they are not defending well at all and that’s one thing you do need to beat Barcelona.  The Catalans  are currently on an unbeaten run of five matches away to Celta, four of which were wins.
