CELTA VIGO - ESPANYOL PREDICTIONS

Celta Vigo host Espanyol in Spain Primera, the home side know only a win gives them a fighting chance of avoiding relegation. Espanyol have nothing to play for so could be an ideal opponent.

Celtic Vigo face up to Espanyol in Galicia in the knowledge that whatever they do here may not be enough if local rivals Deportivo win in their match. It has been a really tough season for Os Celestes who despite a strong showing at home have really been let down by their poor away form. Espanyol have not won in six games and in the last nine have a poor record of 2 wins, 3 draws and 4 defeats. With 10 goals scored and 13 conceded it could be worse for the Catalans as they did face Barcelona twice and Real Madrid in recent times. Espanyol were not too bad away from home and finished Spain Primera with 5 wins from 18. Key players for periquitos are defender Hector Moreno and attacking midfielder Verdu. Forwards Cristian Stuani  and Sergio Garcia are decent forwards and can trouble anyone.
