ELCHE – ESPANYOL: PREDICTIONS

Elche finally got off the mark with a win after 7 attempts, a worthy 1-0 away win in Galicia over Celta Vigo. Elche battled well and like in most of their games tried hard all over the pitch with harrying and pressurising their oppenents. With 1 win, 3 draws and 3 defeats they sit in 17^th and are not doing as badly as you would have thought. Squad defense man Sergio Lopez is out but most importantly key back man Alberto Rabasco is out injured, likely to compound the defensive misery is another starting defender Eduardo Gallego.

Espanyol have stopped in their tracks after two consecutive losses. Espanyol lost to Villarreal and Getafe, they were outclassed in both matches and did look very ordinary last match. Not imposing at all and Getafe didn’t really have to get out of 1^st gear to beat them. Three wins (Valencia, Granada and Bilbao) plus two draws  (Betis and Vigo) mean they sit on 11 points and in 7th so its still a great start for Espanyol .Missing for the Catalans are starting defenders Hector Moreno plus Juan Fuentes; Out also is backup  Victor Alverez, however this defender has yet to start a match.

ELCHE – ESPANYOL: BETTING TIPS

I have to take Espanyol here as Elche still do not look suited to life in the top division. Almost the entire back line is out and key man Rabasco is impossible to replace. Espanyol are taken with insurance as DNB is preferred.
