ELCHE – REAL SOCIEDAD: PREDICTIONS

New boys Elche host the new buzz side of La Liga, Basques Real Sociedad have looked class in their opening two games and will be challenging Atletico Madrid for the 3^rd place for sure

Elche opened up with a terrible result, playing poorly in a 3-0 away loss at Real Valladolid. With a miniscule 32% possession Elche were never in the game and looked very nervy indeed. Valladolid are not expected to do much this season so to lose three goals to them is a poor start. Damien Suarez and Ruben Perez are both available after suspension, both likely to start.

Real Sociedad have played two superb games, looking incredibly comfortable in both games. Week one of La Liga saw a home game against Getafe, a 2-0 was straightforward for Real who took few risks after taking the lead. Preferring to save their legs for what looked like a tough Champions League qualifier in Lyon. However in France Real simply upped their game and outplayed Lyon in their own backyard. A 2-0 win was fully deserved and in Swiss forward Haris Seferovic they have unearthed a gem.  Estaban Granero will be available after his loan from QPR, while Sociedad could rotate here to seal qualification in midweek.

Real Sociedad made a lot of people sit up and take notice after their routine deconstruction of a Lyon side who usually take no prisoners at Stade Gerland.
