Two sides meet in Barcelona in mixed form. This is a pretty evenly matched game. Espanyol sit in 10^th with 7 wins, 5 draws and 10 defeats. At home they have taken 5 wins with 2 draws and 4 losses. Recent form sees a poor return with just 2 wins in 9 with 1 draw and 6 losses in that time. Losses to Osasuna, Betis and Alcorcon are bad defeats, goals have been hard to come by too with just 3 in the last 5 matches. Out for Espanyol is David Lopez.  Granada are just 2 points below Espanyol after 7 wins, 3 draws and 12 losses. They are actually a better side on the road and have 4 wins, 2 draws and 4 losses. Recent form has seen 3 wins, 2 draws and 4 defeats. Granada are missing Riki and Oghalo still.

Tough game to break down this one between two erratic sides. For me the value lies with laying the home side on the Asian Handicap. Taking the draw and Granada is the way forward. Granada are a much better road side and seem more suited to counter attacking football. I don’t expect many goals here but the +0.5 on Granada seems the best option. Granada will be slightly fresher going into this game too having an extra two days recovery over Espanyol.
