GETAFE - ALMERIA: PREDICTIONS

Two sides who lost on opening day meet in Madrid, its Getafe v Almeria in Spain La Liga at Coliseum Alfonso Perez.

Getafe opened up the season with a 2-0 away loss to Sociedad. They were never in the game at any stage and never really threatened the Sociedad goal. Getafe were simply outclassed in all areas in this match, disappointing as Real Sociedad were not on top form but were still too good for Getafe.  Apart from key man Jaime Gavilan (MF and skipper) No other injury or suspension problems for the Madrid men.

Almeria gave a really good performace on opening day but struggled defensively. They held out for long periods of sustained Villarreal attacks before succumbing to two late goals. Indeed they were the superior side 1^st half.  Striker Rodrigo Rios was very clinical upfront and scored twice from his only 2 chances.  

GETAFE - ALMERIA: BETTING TIPS

Almeria were unlucky in conceding the late goals but they must be worried now as they were poor defensively. Getafe were outclassed for the majority of the game against Sociedad but the Basques are a quality side, maybe the best side outside the big two and Atletico Madrid.  I would take the 1.80 (4-5) on Getafe (with bet365) as it looks the best value in this game. Goals are on the cards for sure as the two defences are not up to scratch.
