Getafe will be happy with the start they have made to the la liga season.  They currently sit on 4 points after 3 games and are in 8^th place in the table.  They started the year with a difficult trip to Sevilla which they lost 2-1 and were expected by almost everyone to have back to back defeats when they took o0n Real Madrid in week 2.  In what is definitely the shock of the season so far, they managed to come from behind and beat the reigning champions 2-1 in front of their jubilant home fans.  The bumped back to earth with a 1-1 draw in week 3 against newly promoted Deportivo.

Barcelona has had a perfect start to the season winning all 3 of their matches so far.  They have not been at their best in all games but have still managed to do enough for the wins against Sociedad, Osasuna and Valencia.  Their 5 point gap over rivals Madrid is already significant and they will feel the title is theirs to win back this year.

1x2 Bets

As in almost all games Barcelona are big favourites with a top price of 1.31 with Pinnacle.  The draw is 6.0 and a Getafe home win is a huge 12.0 with Paddy Power.

Barcelona should have more than enough quality to comfortably win this game but we can see from Getafe’s shock win against Real Madrid that the less fancied teams will throw up a shock result sometimes.
