Real Madrid looks to get their first win of the La Liga season against Granada at the Bernabeu.  We will provide predictions for the top betting markets and preview the action.

Madrid has had a terrible start to their La Liga defence and are already 5 points behind bitter rivals Barcelona.  In week 1 they were held at home by Valencia to a draw then suffered a shock defeat away at Getafe, in both games they had taken the lead and then conceded.

Madrid’s confidence will have been increased by their Spanish Super Cup victory over Barcelona however when they took an away goals win after a 3-2 defeat in Barca and a 2-1 win at home. 

Grenada also has just 1 point after 2 games.  They lsot in week one to Rayo Vallecano then were held 1-1 at home by Sevilla.  Grenada narrowly avoided relegation last year, finishing in 17^th just one point ahead of Villarreal and it will be their goal to do the same again this year.  This may be more difficult with the quality of the promoted teams in Deportivo and Celta Vigo.

Total Goals

Plenty of goals are expected in this one with Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.29 at Ladbrokes and the Under a huge 4.33 with William Hill.  I don’t see any way this game is held under 2.5 goals and the over should be a definite.

Asian Handicap

Madrid are huge favourites for this game with the Asian handicap set at Madrid -2.75 @ 2.05 and Granada +2.75 @ 1.92.  This is one of the biggest AH you will see this year but if Madrid get an early goal then they will be pushing hard to give out a thrashing.
