MALAGA - BARCELONA PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS

Malaga lost a lot of players over the summer and a lot of the incoming players were of a lesser stature and some unknowns from far flung leagues across the world. The side that faced Valencia was a very young and inexperienced one but they gave a good account of themselves. The tackles were raw and the play a little ragged but the effort was there. Losing the game in the end though, after a few late efforts on goal Malaga were pretty devoid of ideas in the final third. Key defender Weligton is ruled out for two months after surgery on a broken shoulder. While new signing Flavio will play no part either.

Barcelona opened up in style with a 7-0 demolition job of Levente at Camp Nou. It could have been double figures for sure and Barce actually went in at half time 6-0 up! They never played with the same intensity 2^nd half though and there was a sense of relief from the Levante side who were never near the Barce goal for the entire 90 minutes. Lionel Messi seems to have suffered a reacurrance of the troublesome muscle injury and will be rested. It used to cause problems for Barce whenever Messi was out but they have Neymar to step in to the Argentines shoes and he has looked dangerous in his little camoes so far. Ibrahim Affellay has been ruled out long term while Carlos Puyol is nowhere near a return.

Five of the last six games have been won by Barcelona. Three of them three goal wins plus two victories by two goals. Lots of goals as you would expect with any Barcelona fixture, a total of 29 goals for a ridiculous average of 4.83 goals per game. Both Teams To Score occurring in every fixture. At Malaga every game has been won by at least 2 goals for Barcelona. Goals average is huge at 5 per game and both teams have scored in all three games.

It’s an almost certain away win for Barcelona and the odds are short but seem great value. 1.28 for Barcelona is great value as this should be another large margin win for the Catalans. Malaga will be crushed her for sure and I can see a flurry of goals again. I doubt that Malaga can trouble the scorer and see a large win to nil. Barcelona should win well here, Malaga were are one of the better teams in the league last year but this is a completely difference side.
