MALAGA V VALENCIA PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Malaga are currently 5^th in la liga and in with a shot of finishing in the top 4 for the second straight season.  They have won 5, drawn 4 and lost 3, with an average of 1.25 goals scored a game and a league best 0.75 conceded.  Their recent form has been very poor however with no wins in 4, just 2 draws and 2 defeats.  They have lost back to back home games which are their first losses at home all season.

Valencia are fighting to move up the league after a poor start.  They are currently 7^th place with 5 wins, 3 draws and 4 losses and average 1.33 goals a game while conceding 1.17.  They have won 3 of their last 5 games, drawing 1 and losing 1, with an aggregate score of 8-5.  3 of the 5 games finished with over 2.5 goals.

TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Malaga have struggled recently in the league with no wins over their last 4 matches, their poorest run of the season.  Strangely their Champions League form hasn’t suffered as badly and they have qualified from the group and remain undefeated.  If they want to be participating in the Champions League next year though they’ll need to turn their league form around and get a win.

Valencia still have a substantial injury list with 5 players missing from this match, and if that wasn’t enough they also have Soldado and Victor Ruiz suspended.  Despite this Valencia has been in top form lately with 3 wins in their last 5 games, albeit all at home.  They have struggled away this season and are yet to win in 6 attempts. 

MALAGA V VALENCIA PREDICTIONS: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

Malaga are favourites here despite their poor recent form.  Valencia’s terrible away record added to Malaga’s strong overall record means they should be most likely to get the win.

Coral are offering a very nice 2.20 on a Malaga win which is a top price and one I’ll be backing.

MALAGA - VALENCIA PREDICTIONS: ASIAN HANDICAP PREVIEW

Here the handicap is set at Malaga -0.5 which is the same as a win in the 1x2 market, since the top price here is just 2.12 it is best sticking with Coral in the win market for the extra value.

If you prefer Valencia then this market could be interesting however as Valencia +0.5 is 1.85 with Pinnacle.

Backing Valencia +0.5 means the bet will win whether Valencia win the match or if it ends in a draw.
