Athletic Club are still having a poor season by their standards but have pulled themselves clear of relegation for the moment and are 6 points away from the drop zone.  They are still hugely inconsistent and have the second worst defensive record in the league.  They have a few winnable games ahead which could take them into the top half of the table if things go well.
