Mallorca v Real Betis predictions

Mallorca and Real Betis are both motivated in this BBVA Liga fxture. Mallorca still has a theoretical chance of survival in the league, while Real Betis is fighting for 6th place giving Europa League football next season. In other words, I am not going to spend a lot of time on stats here. The scene is set for Mallorca to go all-in for the three points. Real Betis should then be able to create plenty of chances on their own. Given their hit or miss tendency away from home this season, this should suit them well.

Fernandez (Striker with 0 in 6) and Fontas (defender with only 9 apperances this season) is suspended for the home side. Other than that Igiebor is out for the visitors (Midfielder with 16 apperances this season). I doubt these missing players will have much impact on the outcome of the game.

Mallorca is not easy to beat, but they score way to few goals. With only 38 in 35 played matches I doubt they will have a realistic chance when they go for it tonight. This even if Real Betis tend to leak at the back. Even if Betis has a few defensive leaks they have the player material to hurt the home side when they go forward. Ruben Castro has scored 17 in 31 so far, and the veteran striker will be a threat yet again.
