OSASUNA – LEVANTE: PREDICTIONS

Osasuna sit rock bottom of the league after a terrible start. 1 win and 5 defeats meant an early departure for coach Jose Luis Mendilibar, but new man Javier Gracia has had minimal effect. Osasuna have not performed at all and look all over the place. The solitary win over Elche was a poor game between two poor sides with little quality. Injury problems still for the Basques with Roberto Torres, Cejudo, Eschaide, Miguel Flano and Nino all out. Only Torres has played this season.

Levante recovered well from the opening day mauling from Barcelona. The 7-0 loss was simply unavoidable as Barce were irresistible.  Since that day Levante have won 1 (Rayo Vallecano) and drew 4 (Sevilla, Valladolid, Sociedad and Almeria) Last match was a very scrappy affair with a sending off in Levantes favour but they couldn’t take advantage in the entire 2^nd half and lost 2 vital points. Take of the 7 goals conceding against Barce and Levante have only let in 4 on 5 games..  Clean bill of health for Levante.

OSASUNA – LEVANTE: BETTING TIPS

I have to get against Osasuna here as they look dire, missing several men again they are not a team I could back with any confidence.  I take Levante on Asian Handicap.

Both sides are short of attacking talent though and I do not expect many goals here, a very tight affair for me and a low scoring Levante win is the best bet.
