Big changes at Santiago Bernabeu but a change in philosophy so far. Out has gone striker Gonzalo Higuain for a decent fee, Welsh attacker Gareth Bale is wanted badly but has not signed as yet. Incoming are defender Daniel Carvajal, midfielder Casemiro and the two future hopes for Spanish football Isco and Asier Illarramendi. The latter two bought for a huge 60 million euro. Real Madrid find themselves 2^nd favourites for the title at 2.25 with bet365.

Real Betis finished an impressive 6^th last year. A position they should have improved upon but did have a stuttering end to the season. To try and push on this year they have brought in a huge amount of players; Xavi Torres is the pick of the transfers but also in are Defenders Didac Vila, Jordi Figueras and Markus Steinhofer Midfielders Cedrick, Juanfran, Joan Verdu and Lorenzo Reyes with Forward Chuli also arriving.

It’s an almost certain home win for Barcelona and the odds do reflect this. The home is priced at a restrictive 1.13 and is hardly going to get you rich.
