REAL MADRID V SEVILLA PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Real Madrid are having a very poor season domestically and sit in 3^rd place in la liga.  They have 43 points from 22 matches, which leaves them 16 points behind Barcelona and 7 points behind Madrid rivals Atletico.  The title is already gone as has been admitted by Jose Mourinho but they will feel they have to catch Atletico before the end of the season.  In their last 5 matches they have won 3, drawn 1 and lost 1 which is not good enough for a team of Madrid’s standing.

Sevilla are 10^th in the table with 29 points from 22 games.  They have pushed on recently and have won 3 of their last 5 games, with 1 draw and 1 defeat.  All of those wins have come at home though and they have not won in 5 games away. 

It’ll be a very tough ask for Sevilla to get anything here at the Bernabeu even if Madrid have been struggling recently. 

REAL MADRID V SEVILLA PREDICTIONS: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

Despite Madrid’s well publicised troubles they are still a hugely impressive team at home and have won 4 of their last 5.  They should have enough to win here even with Casillas and Pepe missing.  Varane the young French defender had a very impressive performance when thrown in against Barcelona in the Copa del Rey and will be a more than adequate replacement.
