REAL SOCIEDAD – MALAGA: PREDICTIONS

Real Sociedad have discovered the difficulty that comes with success.  Sitting in 7^th with 1 win, 2 draws and 1 defeat. Games have been very tight indeed with just 4 scored and 3 conceded in the 4 matches.  Real Sociedad have played 3 Champions League games also, with 2 wins over Lyon bringing them Group Football. The step up in class was too much though as Shakhtar Donetsk ran out 2-0 winners in San Sebastian.  Big worries for the club too with new signing Estaban Granero possibly out for the season, also starters Gorka Elustondo and Diego Ifran (both midfield) missing with squad men Carlos Diez and Markel Larrenga doubts.

Malaga grabbed their 1^st win of the season in emphatic style last weekend, trouncing poor Vallecano by 5 goals to nil. It took their season standings to 1 win, 1 draw and 2 defeats and has instilled some optimism at La Rosaleda. New signing Mounir El Hamdaoui had a spectacular full debut with three goals and an assist to really fire the Malaga side. Key defender Robson de Oliveira is the only man out.

REAL SOCIEDAD – MALAGA: BETTING TIPS

Champions League takes a break and Real Sociedad must get their minds on home and some important points. Malaga showed improvement but only beat a very poor side in Vallecano so you cannot read too much into the 5-0 win.
