SEVILLA v ESPANYOL: 1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Sevilla have been flying in recent weeks and were climbing right up to challenge Bilbao for 4^th. A set back occurred last week when Celta beat them 1-0 in Galicia. A midweek 1-0 loss to Porto in Europa League quarters is not a bad result to bring back to Spain for 2^nd leg. Overall they have won 6 and lost 1 of the last 7 league games including a win over Real Madrid. Home form is solid with 8 wins, 3 draws and 4 defeats. They will have a full squad to choose from too. Espanyol come here with three players suspended following a rash of red cards from them. Missing will be Colotto, Casilla and Victor Sanchez. Espanyol are in 9^th with 40 points, they are in mixed form with 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses. Away from isn’t great either with 4 wins, 4 draws and 7 losses.

I can see another home win here as Sevilla will prioritise the league and the race for 4^th and Champions League rather than Europa. They will do the minimal required to get the win here though as I do think they will believe they can overcome Porto on Thursday. Espanyol are poor travellers and nothing but a home win looks likely to me.
