St Gallen has not started the season well, and after five matches they have four losses and one win. They have put in a lot of effort into improving themselves, but not succeeded. Their only win came at home against Grashopper, and Grashopper is currently not as good as last season.
The important St Gallen defender Martin Angha is suspended for this match. They are also missing Cueto (offensive player), while midfielder (and defensive player) Mutsch is doubtful.
Luzern has improved quite a bit in my opinion. They have four wins in five matches this season. In the season premiere they were perhaps a bit lucky by winning 2-1 against Lugano, but against Vaduz they did well and won 3-1. Luzern also put a lot of pressure on Basel, and there is potential in this team. Against a defensively weakened St Gallen I am putting my money on Luzern.
