Ukraine Cup final and again it’s the top dogs Dynamo Kiev facing off to Shaktar – this will be the 8th such final since its inception in 1992. It will be played at the home ground of Kiev at the the Olympic Stadium. This year saw the resurgence of Dynamo Kiev after living in the shadow of the big spending Donetsk side. Its no surprise to me that Dynamo did rise after all the problems of the year in Ukraine itself. Kiev won the title for the 1st time since 2009, leading for much of the season and eventually finishing 10 points clear of its big rivals. In head to heads this year we saw two very tight matches with a 0-0 in Lviv (Shakhtar couldn’t play at home) and a 1-0 win in Kiev. Im taking a tight match again here but feel that Dynamo Kiev, with home advantage and the better of the form and all round quality to win.
I cant discount the draw here in what will be a titanic tussle. I go with the 10-11 or 1.91 on draw no bet on Dynamo Kiev at betfair.
