KARPATY – SHAKTAR DONETSK PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS

Karpaty have had a real low profile start to the season. With the lowest goals in the division but strangely one of the best defences in the league outside the big teams they are keeping things very tight indeed. Just 12 goals in 8 games for an average of 1.5 goals per game shows how tight they are.

Shaktar Donetsk opened up with 6 straight victories in Ukraine Premier but in the last week they have crashed back to reality with a bump. Facing up to Dnipro and Metalist was a tough ask but Shaktar were held at home to Kharkiv before being hammered by a Roman Zozulya inspired Dnipro. Shaktar still sit in 2^nd position only a point behind Kharkiv but they have showed they can be attacked and are not invincible. Key midfielder Dario Srna is suspended here and will be a big loss.
