METALIST V CHERNOMORETS: PREDICTIONS

Metalist stand as the only undefeated team left in Ukraine Premier League. Quite a feat in this very competitive division. With 9 wins and 2 draws from 11 they have scored 26 (only Shakhtar have more) and conceded 7 (best in division) – One minus point was the abandoned game at Dnipro. At 2-1 down and half time the lights went off and the game was called off. After conceding two very early goals in that game Metalist were getting back into the game though.

Chernomorets have had a great start to the season themselves. Sitting in 4^th with 7 wins, 3 draws and 2 defeats. Just 5 points behind Metalist. The side from Odessa play a really tight game and are very organised. Tending to stifle teams and hit them on the break, then defending the game out. With just 13 goals scored in 7 victories it shows the game plan work! They have only conceded 8 goals in that time. Off the big teams faced so far they lost at Dnipro but beat Dynamo Kiev.

This is bound to be a tight game as Chernomorets will set themselves up to defend as usual. Its down to Metalist to break them down. I believe they will do so but will not overrun the Odessians.
