Giles Muller looked pretty sharp in the grass court season and is now back in action on the hard courts of Atalanta. He beat Young of USA in straight sets 28.07 and looked good in the process. It must be said Young perhaps is out of form and confidence so the 9 games Muller won by perhaps doesn't show the true stature of Muller's level at the moment. However, Muller has also played a double game with Fleming vs Pospisil and Sock winning that too. The plot thickens in my opinion. That is not an easy double duo to beat to put it mildly. I dare say Muller is in-form and ready.
Enough about that!
Donaldson is not at the same level as Young, but he has done well in qualification for this tournament. If this was say the first round game I wouldn't touch this tie, but with Muller having a win under his belt, looking good and in general having a lot more class on faster surfaces than Donaldson I can't see how 1.97 on -3 games is value on Muller. Minus 3.5 is available too just north of 2.00, but as Donaldson has played well in Atalanta I land on -3 myself.
